You can see the sun rays on both sides of the road in this shot. Before getting home we stopped at the DeKalb Dunkin' Donuts to pick up a fruit drink and a bagel for Mom and a Boston Cream for me. The next stop was at Britcher BP for gas fill-up and a long overdue car wash. We arrived home about noon. Unpacked, cleaned up the car, took showers and now it's back to our normal routine. Day 8 Wednesday, June 21, 2017 On our way home. Dropping off Ben at Denver airport and then it's Mom and me on a road trip. Ben treated us to Baymont Hotel tonight. We're having our continental breakfast and then off to Denver International Airport (DIA).  Coming out of the mountains. Now you can see the flat plains over the ridge. Now the mountains are behind us. Denver skyline. Denver skyline behind the fence. :) Ben is the man driver! Got us to DIA safe and sound. DIA Saying good-bye.  We did a lot of hiking this week. What a great time we had together! We'll see Ben in about 10 days. Mom and I still shed a few tears as we pulled out. Just couldn't help it.

Day 7 Tuesday, June 20, 2017 Our last day for hiking. 😢 Our first stop was wall art. Check out this Indian Art on the wall...  Panoramic view of the Indian Wall Art. Here's a closeup of part of the wall.  This is another section. Before leaving the area, Ben and I stopped by the Colorado River to get up close and personal.  Now we're back to Arches National Park. This is a far shot of the Fiery Furnace.  Then we scurried up the path to see the Landscape Arch which is part of the Devil's Garden section.  I really liked how these plants looked together. Especially the leaves that look like oak leaves. These next few pictures are in succession as we head to the Double "O" Arch. See why they call it the Double "O" Arch? Ben took this photo of Mom and me inside the lower "O". Where's Ben?  Oh, there he is. This is our traditional looking up from the bottom of the arc...

I liked the way the rock formations were forced up by nature. Jan and me at the rim of the Upheaval Dome, our first hike of the day. She hardly looks like his Mom. Cool panoramic shot of the Upheaval Dome. This shot was taken on the way to Murphy Point. Here we are at Murphy Point looking over the canyon. Another view further north. Nice picture of Jan at the point. This picture was freaking out Mom. She actually started crying and could no longer enjoy her time at the point. I took this picture to show the green rocks we collected. It didn't turn out so great. Our final destination of the morning was at Mesa Arch. There was a steep drop off...
